SIMONE
MENEGHELLO
Simone Meneghello was born in Milan in 1973. He trained at the Brera Art School and studied set design at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. He lives and works in Padua.
Since the 1990s he has brought together visual art, music, photography, sculpture, installation and sound performance. His research addresses the limits of language, non-linearity, memory and the condition he defines as “presence of absence”.
Books, paper, movable type and typewriters become matter: text is layered, compacted or removed from linear reading until it becomes trace, body and space.
