The Ticinese Art Gallery is pleased to invite you to a meeting between voice, gesture and writing. Simone Meneghello will present
“(io) so”, sound and participatory performance inspired by the poetic act of Pier Paolo Pasolini. At the center of the work, the text “(I) know” transforms into a layered recording that expands until it dissolves into white noise, while the audience is invited to write and rewrite the words of the poem on a shared page. Typewriter, sound and graphic track become a single resonance instrument.
“Meneghello meets Pasolini: non-dualism” is an experiment on the ephemerality of the word, where the gesture does not erase but welcomes and where the author and the spectator contribute to the same creative act. Poetry ceases to be a text to become a body of sound and sign, a space in which each intervention modifies without replacing.
A ritual act that explores the limits of language, persistence, memory and writing as an always unfinished act.
